Tenbury Transport Trust was formed as a charity in February 2014 and is dedicated to the provision of transport facilities in Tenbury and its surrounding area for anyone who does not have access to adequate or appropriate transport. There are no age restrictions.
Using volunteers, we offer car transport for individuals and minibus services for shopping trips, or private and contractual use for groups of up to 16 people. We are always looking to register new users and to recruit volunteer drivers and administrative staff.
A charity established in 2014 to meet the transport needs of all ages in Tenbury Wells and the surrounding area.
We are a non-profit making service helping to make a difference from the very young to the elderly and of any ability. We are here for all of you!
Our aim is to help reduce isolation and loneliness, promote independence, and keep communities together and talking.
Our volunteers’ car running costs are mostly met by the fares paid by the passengers.
We have been generously supported from the outset by Worcestershire County Council and a number of donors, who also include some users of our services:
Worcestershire County Council, Malvern Hills District Council, Edmund Godson Trust, The Godson Trust, The Burford Trust, Tenbury Town Council, St Michael’s Lodge, Tesco plc
We are extremely grateful for these and any contributions made in the future which help us continue and extend our services to this community. Thank you!
